    Menu Catalog Data

If you are responsible for building many different catalogs, you can use Gamma GenCat to build each one individually. As you work, you will need to load and save your catalog data (which you should do freqently). Because catalogs are often made up of large numbers of items with images, we found it best to store your catalog data in directories rather than a single file.

Under the GenCat program directory, there is a subdirectory called 'Catalogs'. While you can actually save your catalogs anywhere on your computer or network, we have provided this location as a convenient place to place your work. You will find that we have already provided a few demo catalogs in the same directory.

Under each catalog directory you will find various other files that contain all your catalog data. Make sure not to modify these files in any way or you may corrupt your data.
